Two types of utility cards that can be applied for
Two different types of utility parking permit can be applied for.
Utility card A
Utility card A can be applied for by owners of company or municipality-registered vehicles that are used in home healthcare or similar.
The commercial parking permit is valid 24 hours a day, every day of the week and is valid for a specific vehicle.
- Parking for a maximum of three hours in a row on a street that is regulated by a ban on parking.
- Parking for a maximum of three consecutive hours on the wrong side of date parking.
- Parking on the main road for a maximum of three consecutive hours.
- Parking for a maximum of three consecutive hours in places where parking is permitted for less than three hours.
- Parking for a maximum of three hours without paying a fee in municipal paid parking lots.
Utility card B
Utility card B can be applied for by owners of company- or municipality-registered vehicles that are fixed to a workplace for the installation or repair of real or movable property, and that are used for the transport and storage of tools and materials during construction work, plumbing work or the like.
Utility card B can also be applied for vehicles that are used for sending parcels on a larger scale (courier and logistics companies), vehicles that are used for the transport of heavier and/or economically valuable goods to a considerable extent, and for vehicles that are used in professional traffic for the transport of
Utility card B cannot be applied for vehicles that are primarily used for the driver's movement or for the transport of small quantities of goods.
The utility parking permit entitles the permit holder to park for a maximum of three hours without paying a fee in municipal parking lots subject to a fee.
Fees and Validity
Permits for utility parking can be applied for and issued for 1 year at a cost of SEK 4,500 per vehicle and year, excluding VAT.
Conditions for utility parking permits
Utility parking permit is a digital permit.
When changing vehicles and registration numbers during the validity period of the utility card, an administrative fee of SEK 350 is payable on each occasion, excluding VAT.
Abuse of commercial parking permits may result in the permit being revoked and/or future permit applications not being granted.
Utility parking permits do not apply here
Utility parking permits are only valid on land owned by Trelleborg Municipality.
ATTENTION!
Permits for utility parking do not apply:
- To transport yourself or other people to or from different places.
- For customer visits.
- For parking in connection with work management.
- For parking at your regular workplace.
- As a driving permit on streets with a ban on vehicular traffic or a ban on vehicles of a certain type.
- On a street where stopping or parking is prohibited or where it is prohibited to park according to the traffic regulations, for example in front of the entrance to a property.
- In places that are reserved for a specific purpose, such as bus stops, turning points, loading bays, boarding and alighting bays, school bus bays and taxi bays.
- In reserved parking spaces, for example for motorcycles, buses or for the disabled.
- For an individual to use the card for parking
Exemption from requirements for commercial parking permits
In the following situations, you may stop to load or unload your vehicle without a utility parking permit:
- If you stop on a main road or place where parking is prohibited - as long as you do not disturb the traffic or break other rules.
- If you stop at a turning point with no parking.
- If you stay in a place where a parking fee or time-limited parking applies
- Work with loading or unloading must take place continuously.
- Consideration for pedestrians and cyclists who may be affected by your loading or unloading must always be shown.
